Parking

There is room for about eight ‘ordinary’ cars to park at Narrawong Lavender, including a designated handicapped area plus spaces for familes with little kids or old folks.

Please respect the signs and leave these special spaces for those who need them. If you need extra extra assistance, please call ahead and we will do what we can to help.

Normal vehicles: cars and motorbikes

Enter using the first driveway to your right (look for the green ENTER sign) and exit via the other driveway (look for the red EXIT sign). Don’t go back the way you came in. Basically, follow the signs!

The driveways are strictly one way.

Please go slowly as some turns are a bit tight.

Larger vehicles: caravans and camper trailers

For drivers of anything that takes up extra space or needs a more generous turning circle, please follow our YELLOW signs.

Go directly ahead into the large grassy paddock for plenty of room to comfortably park, reverse and turn.

Don’t go to the right: you are not going to fit under our lovely old sheoaks, trust me.

Dogs and kids and people with wheels

We wish for everyone to be relaxed and comfortable at Narrawong Lavender. However be advised that we do not have a public restroom and have no food or drink for sale at the farm. However, there are chairs and tables available if you would like to sit and eat a picnic.

We have nothing for children to play on. Please supervise your children for the sake of their safety and our anxiety levels.

We have water available for dogs but we require them to stay on a leash for their safety.

There is a lot of soft and uneven ground on the property so please call ahead if you have a wheelchair or specific mobility issues. Please make use of our sign-posted handicapped and shared parking areas.

Be aware that you may see bees (they are very nice bees) and sometimes the occasional snake (they are very polite snakes). These wonderful creatures do not want to worry you, so please let them get out of your way.

We have electric fences that you should not touch; they are serious electric fences.

Please call ahead if you have any concerns about the conditions at the farm or any special needs we can help you with.

What to do here

There is no charge to visit Narrawong Lavender.

This is a working farm: we have many trees, a vegie garden and maybe a few cows. We don’t have a playground and there is no cafe.

There are fields of lavender hedges to look at and lavender products for sale and that is about it. Wander around, take 28364209 pictures, sit, breathe, think. Paint and draw, watch the birds, meditate.

We can show you the land and explain how we grow the plants and describe the distilling process. But we have absolutely no swings and no ice cream, just so you know.
